#16 Mim Strom

This episode I sat down with a Fremantle Docker superstar, Mim Strom. Mim has made a solid impression at her time with Freo and she doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Mim is extremely passionate about her footy, but she is also pathing a way for the next lot of female athletes to come through the door as her and so many other women's players fight against the criticism that comes with the sport. This weeks episode was a real interesting one. I managed to sit down with a friend from Darwin (virtually not physically) and chat about his experience when it comes to post concussion symptoms. Trent has been through the ringer and struggled for 16 months with these symptoms until he came across a clinic called Optimize Sport Chiropractic that helped him overcome this battle. How fun is water skiing am I right?! I wouldn't know because I haven't been before, but a mate of mine Damian talks all about it on this weeks episode. We chat about getting to represent his country in this unique sport, having his daughters join him and his wife out of the water, and some close calls that almost took one of their lives. Its the SEASON FINALE!! Unbelievable to think I've actually managed a whole first season. This was such a good episode to finish on with a long time friend of mine, Jye Tanner. Jye had the dream of becoming an AFL player, but due to several setbacks, had the dream taken away from him. With all the work and dedication he put into it all during his younger years, Jye has had to battle many demons asking himself "what if?".
